Purchasing from Fairweather's Plant Shop

Making a Purchase: Browse our store and press 'Add to Basket' on any items you want. After you've finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’, where you will be able to choose your method of payment.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it through the website, please contact us and we will correct it.

You will be sent a confirmation of your order. This is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping and Handling: Standard delivery is to mainland UK only (including the Isle of Wight). We do not ship outside of the UK.

Shipping and mailing costs will be calculated automatically according to the total value of your order. You have the option of creating an account to save your address details.

Please note that for orders for delivery to off-lying islands (such as IOW), an additional charge may be incurred. This also applies to the Scottish Highlands.  We will notify you if this is the case.

Delivery charges:

Plant deliveries up to £250 are £8.00
Over £250 delivery is free.

Plant Food Delivery Charges

1 packet is £3.20
2 + packets £6.00
If plant food is ordered when purchasing our plants, we will put the plant food into the same box as your plants. There will be no additional plant food delivery charges.

Delivery Schedule: UK orders

Please note that mail delivery can be delivered any time Monday to Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays). We are unable to offer timed deliveries.

If the buyer refuses to take delivery or fails to give information or instructions necessary for the delivery, we will be entitled to store the goods at buyer’s risk and expense. Unless we are negligent in advising you of delivery dates, we not accept any responsibility for lost working time or the cost to third parties, in the unlikely event of a delivery being delayed or postponed.

Plant delivery exceptions: please note, plants are only dispatched Monday to Wednesday to avoid complications with courier storage over weekend periods.

Collecting Orders: If you have opted to collect your order from us. We will contact you to agree a suitable date and time for collection.  Collection orders cannot be made online, they must be placed via phone or in person.

Collections should be made from our Garden Centre address:  High Street, Beaulieu, Hampshire, SO42 7YB. Collection without prior notice is not possible.

Back Orders: If your item is not in stock or otherwise unavailable, we can back order it for you.

VAT Charges: Fairweather's is registered for VAT and all prices shown include VAT where applicable.

Credit Card Security: Credit and Debit card payments are taken through Global Payments secure systems.  Read Global Payments Security Policy Here.

Guarantee and Delivery Condition: We cannot guarantee that a plant will not be damaged in transit. Agapanthus plants that have flowers, may be cut off and removed for packing as to not damage the plant.

Returns Policy: Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund of goods. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number and sharing pictures of any plant problems with us on your initial email confirmation. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault, for example, if goods are faulty or mis described.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition. These terms apply to your order. We may change our Terms and Conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to the minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Remittance Terms: All orders require payment prior to sending. Orders will not be dispatched until after clearance of monies.
