Planting: Water the plant well, remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water again and throughout the plan’ts’ first year of growth.
Aftercare: cut back dead flower spikes to encourage repeat flowers throughout the summer and remove overwintered withered foliage in spring. Divide every 3-4 years to maintain vigour.
