This perennial Allium makes a lovely bushy plant with foliage that does not die back during and after flowering. Lots of large rich, blue, lilac-mauve flowers are produced throughout the summer. Bee-attracting.

Planting: Water the plant well, remove the pot and plant in a hole large enough to avoid disturbing the rootball. Back-fill with soil mixed with compost. Water again and throughout the plants’ first year of growth.
Aftercare: Cut back dead flower spikes to encourage repeat flowers throughout the summer and remove overwintered withered foliage in spring.
